Northern Caucasus, ca. 1895 - 1905Wool on Wool processing. Night blue background symmetrically divided by two starred medallions, inside of which depicts two carpet's miniature.
Notable is the particular presence of eight stylized animals to the extremes of the field, as if they want to suggest a direction at the carpet.
The central field is richly framed by 2 bands with geometric designs - Stylized Daisies -
