Samarkanda carpet

Description

Blue ground cloth with pomegranate design. It is noted on the carpet the presence of two lighter lines: it is the Abrash.
Abrash is a change in color of the wool that occurs over the years when in ancient used vegetable colors.
It is a very important carpet from a dimensional point of view, by the rarity of the piece and its visual impact.
In the border there are many frames decorated with geometric flowers, including carnations and daisies.
